About Privateer Yacht Sales
Privateer Yacht Sales is a Canadian based marine brokerage offering personalized service to clients wishing to purchase or sell sailing vessels and quality watercraft. Several years of sailing experience, and tall ship management experience combined with the technical and regulatory knowledge of the principal and associates, gives Privateer Yacht Sale’s team a competitive edge. We conduct the due diligence necessary for yacht acquisition and vessel operation ranging from private personal use to commercial charter and passenger vessel standards operation in Canadian and Foreign waters. Additionally we arrange all necessary brokerage arrangements with Canada Border Services for importation of foreign flagged vessels and export control with foreign jurisdictions where required.
Through a network of professional marine associates Privateer Yacht Sales offers vessel familiarization services to transition owners in the safe operation of their new vessel. Additionally we can arrange safe and timely delivery overland and by water. Whether a convenient seasonal delivery, or a onetime trans-Atlantic crossing, our marine professionals will arrange delivery of the vessel in a safe and timely manner at a reasonable fee.
All vessels listed with Privateer Yacht Sales are inspected and a fresh marine survey can be arranged prior to finalizing a sale for insurance purposes.
Privateer Yacht Sales are proud supporters of the Canadian Sail Training Association and Brigantine Inc., the non for profit organization operating youth sail training vessel St. Lawrence II. We arrange donation boats for registered charities.

Peter Milley,is presently Acting Chairman of the Canadian Sail Training Association. An Individual Member and former Assistant Director of CSTA he was elected Dec 17, 2011 to the executive as Secretary of this organization representing Canadian Tallships and sail training vessels.
