The Contessa 26 was donated to Brigantine Inc. to support traditional sail training for youth. This vessel is bare bones. Equipped with a Petter diesel marine engine, newer black anodized mast, boom and standing rigging. This vessel has sailed from the National Yacht Club in Toronto for many years before it was donated. It has no fancy electronics of dodger but otherwise a very clean solid vessel with average sails. All deck fittings and stanchions appear to be in good shape with no leaks. The previous owner had a stainless steel fabricating business and there are several clever stainless steel upgrades incorporated into the vessel.

Inventory ; Mainsail with double reefing points, storm jib, working jib, #1 genoa,  Blue interior sette cushions, cockpit cushions, double life lines, double stern pulpit, bow pulpit, Knot meter (needs rewiring),

                 halyard winch with handle and pouch, teak cockpit grating, fire extinguisher, two burnercounter top alcohol stove, mini galley stove, boat hook, wisker pole, boat hook, ir guide compass,

                 topping lift, 13 lb Danforth anchor, chain hawse, 100 feet nylon 3/8 rope, curtains, mainsail cover, hrose shoe life ring 9 (6 years old), storage cradle, VHF Mecca 2400 with Shakespeare antenna
