Manufacturer Provided Description
The pilothouse design maximizes three very important requirements of the mature cruising sailor: spacious comfortable onboard accommodations, excellent handling characteristics, and protection from the weather; the Kodiak Pilothouse Motor Sailer features all of that and a great deal more. A comfortable starboard side steering station and matching mate's chair on the port side provide an excellent view of the surroundings through eight pilothouse windows, two of which are on slides to allow a free flow of air for ventilation. The 6-foot, 6-inch headroom in the pilothouse dispels the myth that all sailboats are cramped and uncomfortable. The cockpit is deep, and long enough to allow sleeping under the stars. Lumbar support is molded into the pilothouse aft exterior, and drink holders are molded into the substantial bridge deck. The coamings are wide and comfortable to sit on when necessary. Teak and other fine wood give the interior that warm, elegant ambiance that is so important to pride of ownership. Even the chart table, which converts to a standup head, is crafted in beautifully finished teak. The 6-foot, 4-inch berth behind the steering station can be converted into a double. The forward berth is separated from the main cabin by a teak bulkhead, and overhead hatches illuminate and ventilate the main cabin. Two hatches in the overhead of the forward cabin, one of which is a skylight type, provide illumination and further ventilation. Individual reading lamps provide light in the evening.

The Nimble trailerable motorsailer is in a class all of its own.  They are huge for a 26' boat, sail or power.  This example has a newer 4-stroke Yamaha 20 hp outboard in a well, giving them the same look as their diesel counterpoint but with more hp, and less intrusion into the interior space. It comes with full galley, inside helm, stand up pilot house, GPS chartploter, 200 watt solar panels, new batteries, and a mast you can lower and raise on your own without the need for a marina. It comes with its twin axle trailer, and can be towed away. This model is also set up to be Yawl rigged if you want the extra mizzen sail, or can be use as a motor trawler with mast and rigging removed.
